Varun Dhawan to begin filming Eekkees in May 2020

While Varun Dhawan is busy shooting with Sara Ali Khan for his upcoming comedy remake Coolie No.1, he is already planning and setting dates to begin his next. The actor will be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s next titled Eekkees. The film is a biopic on second lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film will be an ambitious project showcasing the human angle in a very sensitive way.

Eekkees is produced by Dinesh Vijan and will go on floors next year in May/June 2020. The pre-production for the film has already begun and will have an emotional father-son angle to it. Director Sriram Raghavan and Varun Dhawan have previously worked in the action thriller Badlapur.
