The Indian music Industry has suffered another huge loss soon after Asha Bhosle’s demise few weeks back .

The veteran playback singer Suman Kalyanpur enchanted generations of listeners with her velvety voice.  She passed away on May 31st after being ailing for past few months.

Suman Kalyanpur’s journey in the film industry began with films such as Shukrachi Chandni and Mangu in 1954.   She over the years gained a lot of popularity for the choice and lyrics which were mostly timely classic songs that included 

Yeh Saawan Ka Mausam', 'Aajkal Tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche', 'Na Na Karte Pyaar', 'Na Tum Hamein Jaano', 'Parbaton Ke Pedon Par' and 'Nimbonichya Zhaada Maage and many more. 

Her most famous collaborations were with Mohammed Rafi.
