The Chhaava trailer is creating waves after the unveiling of Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Rashmika Mandanna playing his on-screen wife Maharani Yesubai. 

Vicky has received praise for his remarkable presence and energy in the trailer, while at the same time his Marathi accent and diction is being compared to Ranveer Singh as Maratha Peshwa Bajirao in Bajirao Mastani (2015), who has set a high bar with his accent work in period dramas.

While fans are praising Ranveer Singh’s ability to seamlessly adopt different accents for his roles. One of the fans said that Ranveer was beyond brilliant in Bajirao Mastani, while his Marathi diction was beautiful. 

Another fan praised his ability to adopt accents in various roles particularly Kapil Dev, Biitu, Khilji, Jayesh Bhai or Bajirao, you won't feel as if it's not his natural accent.
