Chhaava is one of the recently released movies of the historical-drama genre. This new film’s story mainly revolves around the life of the brave and legendary warrior of the Maratha dynasty, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s son, Sambhaji, who rises to the throne soon after the untimely demise of his father. The film’s story starts with the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, who celebrates the demise of his arch-rival and thereby believes that the Maratha dynasty can be destroyed anytime, but as soon as he begins to plot against the Maratha dynasty, Sambhaji, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Determined by the emotion of revenge, Sambhaji trains himself to become the next warrior of the Maratha dynasty to fight against the Mughals and thereby disproves the Mughal’s province located in Burhanpur, that showcased his prowess by tearing apart a lion’s jaw with his bare hands. Further, he goes on to face various conspiracies from his own stepmother, Soyarabai, as well as his soldiers, who truly seek to see his step-brother, Rajaram establish the throne and then Sambhaji begins to unravel this devastating plot against him, and thereby attempts to unite his people in favor of him. While Sambhaji had uncovered the plot through a mutual alliance with the Aurangzeb’s son Mirza Muhammed Akbar, he thereby executes his plan through his conspirators in order to solidify his rule as well as the Maratha Empire. Later, Sambhaji implements some guerrilla tactics and thereby inflicts some major losses to the Mughals. What will happen further? Will Aurangzeb conspire some plans to tarnish his reign? How will Sambhaji fight back?
