Shakti Shalini will be the sixth chapter in the ever-expanding Maddock Horror Comedy Universe which already has to its credit films like Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, Stree 2 and Thamma. 


Helmed by director Aditya Sarpotdar, who is known for his work in Munjya and Thamma, Shakti Shalini is expected to explore the dark and more intense narratives with a storyline that remains under wraps, the reports have suggested that Vineet’s character is dark and gritty posing as a dangerous and formidable threat to the protagonist. 


Mother of All – Aneet Padda as the Protector and Destroyer .


Aneet Padda is in the spotlight as Shakti Shalini in the first teaser released. Describing the intriguingly , the Protector, The Destroyer, she is all set to be the Mother of All in her role which will bring depth and mystique to the franchise. Aneet Padda rose to fame with her debut film Saiyaara directed by Mohit Suri in the film that marked her big entry in the Maddock’s supernatural series. 


Vishal Jethwa also joins in the star cast in a pivotal role and will reunite with Aneet Padda after their collaboration together in Salaam Venky. Their on-screen chemistry is expected to bring about an emotional charge on the screen and in the story. 


Vineet has more fresh projects lined up after his Chhaava and Jaat and has already begun shooting in Mumbai and will be continuing to the next schedule in Madhya Pradesh after he wraps up for his commitment for Duhaad Season 2. 


Originally slated for a Christmas 2026 release, the film may shift to early 2027 due to a box office clash with King. With high stakes and fresh characters, Shakti Shalini is shaping up to be a crucial addition to the horror-comedy franchise.
