Vijay Deverakonda Speaks Up On His Rise As A ‘Global Icon’

One of the finest actors of pan-India cinema, none other than Vijay Deverakonda, spoke about his rise as a global icon in the prestigious summit, which took place in the nation’s capital, New Delhi, wherein various leaders, such as Narendra Modi, were also present. 

In the summit, when he was asked a question about how he maintains his momentum, Vijay Deverakonda answered, ‘I know that the Indians living in the country as well as around the world have been certainly recognizing me now, but no one was even able to recognize me as an actor, I think it could be because nobody knew who I am actually, and major audiences didn’t even watch my work.’

Further, he expressed his concerns on his relationship with his fans and supporters and said that, ‘I’m blessed to be showered by their love and support. I think I’ve earned more love than the work that I have done in my overall career, and I am always grateful for their love and will always look forward to entertaining them while creating several memories.'

However, Vijay Deverakonda is currently preparing for his upcoming film, 'Kingdom,’ which will be of the action-thriller genre, and its direction will be done by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and it is expected that Vijay will enact a major role in this film, and it will be released in theaters on 30th May, 2025, respectively.
