Ye Kali Kali Aankhen Veteran Lyricist Dev Kohli Passes Away At 80

Lyricist Dev Kohli was eighty years old. He has written songs for over 100 hit films, including 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Baazigar', 'Judwaa 2', 'Musafir', 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' and 'Taxi No. 9211'.
As per reports, the last rites of the deceased artiste will be performed today at 2 pm at his home Jupiter Apartments, Mumbai and the last rites will be performed at 6 pm at Oshiwara crematorium, Jogeshwari West. His close friends Anu Malik, Anand Raj Anand, Uttam Singh and other Bollywood actors will pay tribute this evening.
Born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Dev Kohli wrote about a hundred songs for Bollywood films. He gave many hit Hindi songs including Ye Kali Kali Aankhen, Maye Ni Maye, and O Saki Saki.
