Alia Bhatt Begins Shooting For RRR

Alia Bhatt will fly to Delhi for the month-long shoot of S S Rajamouli’s RRR to play the lead opposite Ram Charan. The film which is based on the pre-independence era has its first schedule already completed. The Baahubali 2 director has also roped in British actress Daisy Edgar to play the love interest of Jr NTR. 

Total Dhamaal actor Ajay Devgn will be seen in a comprehensive cameo in the film after finishing the shoot of his home production Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film crew will fly to Hyderabad later for the second schedule where an abandoned aluminum factory will be used extensively as a jail set-up. A lot of scenes will be based in that premises.

The Raazi actress who is on a professional high after back to back hits will see her period drama clash with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera. The South Indian director’s movie is set to release during Bakri Eid 2020 and will be released in various languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
