Amitabh Bachchan And His Squad Of Football Players Is Here In The Teaser Of ‘Jhund’
Marathi filmmaker Nagraj Manjule is finally making his Bollywood directorial debut with the upcoming Hindi film Jhund. The film stars superstar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead who will be portraying the role of real life Nagpur-based Slum Soccer founder, Vijay Barse in the film. The makers have unveiled its teaser and it begins to some energetic, foot tapping beats of drums. The Badla actor can be seen in his sports gear beckoning his team to prep.
Jhund’s story revolves around a veteran retired football coach who encourages a group of street children to utilise their talent and skills in football. He helps the slum children build a football team and coaches them. The film also stars Sairat actors Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar. Nagraj has directed the Marathi film Sairat which was remade in Hindi as Dhadak starring Janhvi Kapoor. Jhund is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Raaj Hiremath, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Meenu Aroraa & Sandeep Singh, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment & Aatpat. The film will hit the big screens on 4th March 2022. Apart from this film, Big B will also be seen in Brahmastra and Runway 34.
