The complaint was filed by Sanjay Tiwari at the Ghatkopar police station via his lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. Although an FIR has not been registered by the police yet, the complaint alleges that such actions during the celebration of a festival from another religion have hurt Hindu religious feelings. The police are yet to take formal action in this matter.
