The aesthetic start of the trailer shows VS Kamath a lonely old widower played by Jackie Shroff doing his morning routine which includes making dosa and filter coffee. The storyline follows his neighbours finding him falling unconscious on the floor. After receiving advice from the police officer to become more socialise with neighbours he tries to become friends with Mrs Handa. Played by Neena Gupta Mrs Handa is an unabashed, unapologetic Punjabi lady. Their friendship turns out to be a chaotic deal as it leads to many unexpected incidents.
