The Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer that had completed shooting last year in Jan never got released. As per reports Aditya Chopra who is producing the movie was not happy with the concluding edit and wanted a few scenes shot again.
Talking about Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, in a statement to the media Yash Raj Films have shared, “Two more unlikely protagonists in one film are unimaginable. They are united in one thing only. Their mistrust, suspicion and hate for each other.” Dibakar Banerjee has long awaited the release of his ambitious project and is hopeful the movie will finally release this year in June. Parineeti Chopra will be collaborating with YRF for the third time. She previously worked with Yash Raj in Ishaqzaade in 2012 and Namastey England in 2018, both incidentally opposite Arjun Kapoor.
