Watch Riteish-Genelia's Superhit Marathi Film 'Ved' In Hindi On 28th April Only On Disney Plus Hotstar

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's superhit Marathi film Ved is now all set to hit the OTT platform. The good thing is that the film is being streamed in Hindi as well. Ved is a Romantic Drama film, which was well received at the theatres. Ved will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on April 28. Ved, which released in 2022, performed brilliantly at the Marathi box office. Released on 30 December, the film completed its 50-day run at the box office on 17 February and collected a gross collection of 74 crores, out of which the net collection was 60.67 crores.

Ved also marks the directorial debut of Riteish Deshmukh. He played the lead role in the film and also co-produced it. As per reports, Ved is the third highest grossing Marathi film of the year 2022 along with being the highest grossing film. With Ved, Riteish has joined the ranks of directors in the industry who have achieved success with their first film. The film starred Ashok Saraf and Jia Shankar in lead roles along with Riteish's better half Genelia D'Souza. Ved is a remake of the 2019 Telugu hit Majili, which starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya in lead roles.

Talking about Riteish's career as an artist, he has passed two decades in the industry. He made his debut in 2003 with the film Tujhe Meri Kasam opposite Genelia. He played solo lead and supporting roles in several Hindi films. Ritesh established his own identity through comic characters. He turned producer with the 2013 Marathi film Balak Palak. In 2014, he made his innings in Marathi cinema with Laya Bhaari and the film was a huge success. The film, directed by Nishikant Kamat, featured cameos by Salman Khan and Genelia. It was also co-produced by Riteish. Ritesh's upcoming Hindi films include Kakuda and Visfot.
