Adaalat follows K.D. Pathak (Ronit Roy), a suave, sophisticated, witty, and unconventional lawyer. He has the ability to get his clients out of the most difficult situations. His acquittal rate is one hundred percent. But, most importantly, K.D. stands for Justice, not his client. K.D. has an incredible attention to detail and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He always appears to know enough about every profession, and what he doesn't know he hides/makes up for with his intelligence.
