Banoo Main Teri Dulhann (2006)

Vidya comes from a humble poor household in Banaras. Having lost her parents she is brought up by her aunt, uncle and cousins who torture her. They don't even allow her To get an education and keep her illiterate. She works hard, is honest and does all the work in the house. One day the wealthy Rajendra Pratap comes to Bananas to find a wife for his son Sagar. He is impressed by Vidya and selects her to be his daughter-in-law. On the wedding day however, Vidya finds out that Sagar has lost his mental balance due to a car accident 6 months ago. She however accepts him and soon makes a place in everyone's heart. Sagar is unaware of his marriage and thus dislikes Vidya. Meanwhile Sagar's step sister Sindoora is a conniving woman who wants to usurp his property and thus caused the accident to kill Sagar. She now begins to torture Vidya and tries to poison everyone against her. Things take a different turn when Sagar's paternal aunt takes Vidya's side and they both try to expose Sindoora and her evil plans. The show is directed by Neelima Bajpayee, Ismail Umarr Khan and Umarr Das. The star cast includes Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Sharad Malhotra.
