Chandan Ka Palna Resham Ki Dori (2001)

The Bhimani family is the focus of the narrative, and Mr. Bhimani, the household's chief, puts pressure on his son to create a "male heir" for their commercial empire. However, he is ignorant of the fact that his son and daughter-in-law are unable to conceive a child because of certain medical conditions. However, the unfortunate couple enters into a deal with another woman to be a surrogate mother for their male child in order to satisfy their father's wish. But just when things between the husband, the wife, and the prospective mother of the child appear to be going well, problems arise and a drama unfolds that threatens to upend the previously contented household. The 'other' woman will still have to answer some questions, though.
