Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali

One day when young prince Salim visits the Dargah with his father Akbar and mother Jodha, a priest foresees the future. He tells them that Salim will be a great warrior but go against his own father and the reason will be a girl. Akbar promises to never let such a day come. Meanwhile the village is attacked by bandits, a young girl named Saifu saves Salim's life. Akbar learns of the girl and renames her Anarkali. Soon Salim and Anarkali become close friends. Akbar's mother however is horrified to learn that a maid's niece is playing with Salim. Akbar later sends Salim on the battlefield for 12 long years till he matures. Anarkali bids him a heartbroken goodbye but writes to him everyday for 12 years. Things take a turn for the worse when a conniving Rukaiya asks Anarkali to dance for the large celebration of Salim's return. Salim on seeing his beloved dance for hundreds of people gets furious aNd slaps Anarkali. The show is directed by K Mohit Kumar, Amit Gupta and Dinesh Mahadev. The star cast includes Shaheer Sheikh, Sonarika Bharodia and Piyush Sahadev.
