Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum is a serial of the romantic-drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the lives of two people with entirely different backgrounds. Surili Ahuja Banerjee is an independent, hardworking girl who manages the cafe which was founded by her parents who unfortunately died and from then she has taken care of herself and her cafe name is 'Gramophone Cafe'. On the other hand, Shivendra Barot who is a eldest prince of the royal, rich and luxurious Barot family and is a very humble person. His beloved mother Damyanti Barot is the princess of their kingdom and she desires that Shivendra should marry a girl which matches their family's status. Later, the story takes an unexpected turn wherein Shivendra and Surili fall in love with each other and when Shiv confesses about his relationship to his mother, she highly opposes it. What will happen further? Can they both marry each other despite Damyanti's disapproval? Will Shivendra give up on his love in order to fulfill her mother's wish? This serial wonderfully portrays the elements of romance, drama and thrill through its surreal emotional depth and engaging storyline.
