Kammal (2002)

The narrative follows the life of Kammal, a little girl raised by three bar dancers (Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar). Kammal is raised by these women to be a woman of incredible elegance and beauty despite overwhelming circumstances. When a wealthy man (Sandeep Baswana) from a prominent family falls in love with Kammal, the plot undergoes a significant change. He marries Kammal despite his family's opposition to the union. A heartbreaking narrative of love, deceit, faith, and betrayal ensues. Kammal faces tests from her own family members at every turn of her life, but each time she stands up to them and demonstrates her loyalty and innocence.
