Mangal Lakshmi (2024)

Mangal Lakshmi is a TV serial of the drama genre. Its story mainly revolves around the lives of two sisters namely Mangal, the elder sister and Lakshmi the younger sister. Its story starts as Mangal lives with her husband Adit works as a senior manager in a reputed company. However, he frequently criticizes Mangal for her educational status,conventional beliefs and perspectives. Though Mangal gets unhappy with her husband’s tempered approach towards her, still she always strives to impress him. Although, Adit’s parents and his beloved son Akshat always appreciate her efforts and contribution towards the household chores. On the other hand, Lakshmi is an orphan who unfortunately lost her parents at a very young age, but is very enthusiastic, cheerful and hard-working individual who is gifted with a precious talent of singing and song-writing. Further, she decides to stop her studies in order to help angal’s father Bhushan to run his shop efficiently in order to fulfill her families’ basic needs. Later on, the story takes a dramatic turn when it is revealed that Adit’s colleague Saumya admires him as her partner and urges to replace Mangal in place of her. What will happen further? Will Adit betray his beloved wife Mangal and marry Saumya? Can Lakshmi reveal the dark side of Saumya? This TV serial excellently portrays the emotions of love, trust, betrayals and the their surreal bond of sisterhood which is presented throughout the serial in its various episodes.
