Roopender, lovingly called Roop in his family has wanted to change the patriarchal mindset of men in his family since he was 8 years old. He lives with his father Shamsher, mother, three sisters, aunt and cousin Ranveer. Shamsher has very strict rules in the house and doesn't want women to have too liberated mindsets. Thus when he sees Roop enjoying cooking, sewing, etc. he gets furious and sends him to a boarding school to keep him away from the women folk of his house. He also wants his friendship broken with Palak who is brought up with a modern mindset. Few years later Roop has grown up and returns back home to his siblings. He then comes to know through them that nothing has changed for the women and they are still expected to be in the kitchen and not participate in any activities of the house. Meanwhile he and Palak fall in love, and Ranveer who ill-treats women also has his eye on Palak. Things take a drastic turn when Roop marries Palak for her safety from Ranveer and the latter is out to take revenge on them both. The show is written and created by Rashmi Sharma. The star cast includes Shashank Vyas and Donal Bisht.
