Sanskar (2006)

The tale of Jai Kishan, the devoted and educated son of the Vaishnav family who resides in Keshavgarh, is told in Sanskaar — Dharohar Apnon Ki. Despite his desire to remain at home with his family, circumstances force him to travel to the US. The programme will focus on his time abroad and how, despite being far from home, he maintains a strong sense of tradition. At a Lord Krishna temple in the US, Jai Kishan Vaishnav encounters Urmila Patel, a fellow Gujarati. The disappearance of his suitcase adds to his troubles. Jai Kishan arrives at the workplace where he must join, searching for his misplaced bags. The Vaishnavs are informed by a police officer that the burning of their mill was not an accident.
