Shakuntala (2009)

The narrative is a fairy tale about a newborn that the Sage Kanva finds and takes in as his own daughter and nurtures in his ashram. Shakuntala becomes a stunning young woman (known to be as beautiful as a goddess). She meets the utterly infatuated King Dushyanta. He approaches her, captures her affection, and bestows his Royal seal—his Ring—on her. Shakuntala yearns for King Dushyant to come back into her life because of the obstacles in their relationship.
