Tenali Rama is a 20 year old happy-go-lucky boy who wants to enjoy life and become rich. His lazy and careless attitude however gets the better of him and he loses out in most things. Things get too pressured for him when he is forced to get married and become responsible by earning his own living. Frustrated and clueless, Tenali meets a saint who advices him to go to the village temple and chant a prayer. He does as told and is surprised to see Goddess Kali before him. She then offers him to choose from a bowl of milk and curd. The boy tastes both making goddess angry. He however explains that one is a waste without the other. Impressed by his wit, she blesses him that he will one day become the poet of Krishnadevarayas court. He then joins the king’s court and solves many mysteries and problems with his cleverness and quick wit. The show is directed by Jackson Sethi and produced by Abhimanyu Singh. The star cast includes Krishna Bhardwaj, Pankaj Berry, Manav Gohil, Ajay Chaudhary and Tarun Khanna.
