The serial shows the birth and life of Lord Ganpati aka Ganesha. Ganesha is born to goddess Paravati and is named Vinayak. However one day when he comes in the way of his father Lord Shiva’s immeasurable anger, the latter ends up beheading his own son. Parvati is devastated but demands to her husband that he resurrect her son, and he does so giving the boy an elephant’s head. He is thus called the Vighnaharta, which means remover of all obstacles. The show also depicts Lord Ganesha’s many incarnations as well as that of other deities in the Hindu mythology. The show is directed by Abhimanyu Singh, Brij Mohan Pandey And Anjalika Gupta. The show is produced by Abhimanyu Singh. The star cast includes Nishkarsh Dixit, Malkhan Singh, Akanksha Puri and Rahul Sharma.
