Andhera Season 1 is one of the upcoming web series from the thriller-drama genre. The plot of this new web series revolves around an evil supernatural force preying upon unsuspecting citizens of Mumbai, wading through the blend of reality and nightmare. All of this makes for an exciting thriller-drama, a unique combination of investigative drama and psychological horror, following the unlikeliest of unlikely leads on their journey from an insurmountable lure of fear to the centre of mystery. Inspector Kalpana Kadam (Priya Bapat), a pragmatic and tough cop, feels everything turned upside up when a string of strange disappearances baffled the police. Meanwhile, a troubled medical student named Jay (Karanvir Malhotra), begins undergoing all sorts of unnerving visions and encounters that all lead back to the same evil. As life would have it, Jay came into contact with the cop, Kalpana. Together, they try to make an uneasy alliance. Kalpana works with forensic data and police protocols; Jay works with his past experiences and intuitive understanding of the occult. He also introduces a terrifying new dimension to the case. Using a history long-buried, they reveal an angered force, neither benevolent nor evil, and nefariously devours trauma and keeps buried secrets. Supportive and invigorating energies quickly turn chaotic, breathing rhythm into the consumption of Mumbai. With each episode, the darkness heightens, not just for the city but for the active fight to keep one's sanity intact that so many must wage against the might of Andhera Season 1.
