Selection Day (2018)

Mohan Kumar is an obsessed cricket fan and never misses to watch a match. He himself used to play an expert game years back and now wants his sons Manjunath and Radha to be the best cricket players the country has ever seen. He thus personally trains them. After the boys have been playing locally in their village, Mohan decides his sons must move on and go to greener pastures to try their luck. He then sends them to Mumbai where the selection for the best players for the domestic league is on. The series is directed by Udayan Prasad and Marston Bloom. The series is based on the novel Selection Day by Aravind Adiga. The star cast includes Mohammad Samad, Yash Dholye, Karanvir Malhotra, Rajesh Tailang, Mahesh Manjrekar and Ratna Pathak Shah.
