Jaffer Sadiq made his entry into films with Malayalam. Even though he is a great actor and a dancer, he got only small roles due to his disadvantage of short height and not an impressive physique. He got roles that were specific to a character required in a film that suited his personality. However, the Netflix film Paava Kadhaigal had changed his fortune and taken his career aspects to a new level whereby he is in great demand now.

He is also well educated and completed his graduation from Chennai. He was already busy with film and television projects during his college days but managed to complete his studies without many hurdles.

Vikram. The film was a box office success, and Jaffer's role, though small, earned him notice. This paved the way for a role in Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer, an even bigger hit. In 2023, Jaffer made his Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. He yet again played one of Vijay Sethupathi's henchmen. His last on-screen appearance was in Varun Dhawan's Baby John.
