Gargi Patel worked with many brands that made her an official debut in the modelling and actress. In 2000 she was a part of the most popular serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 1 helmed by Ekta Kapoor. Gargi had gained immense respect in the industry for her flawless acting skills.

She flourished in the television industry by appearing in the shows like Apna Time Bhi Ayega, C.I.D and many others. Gargi has had a prolific career in the film industry, an actress who has carved a niche for herself as one of the most reliable characters in Hindi cinema and television. With a career span over two decades, Gargi Patel has appeared in some of the biggest blockbusters of the modern era. She is often portraying a parent role, or elegant socialite or has pivotal supporting characters that impacts the story telling.

She is known for her roles in blockbusters like Devdas, Wazir, Khuda Hafiz and much more.  She was gaining a significant recognition in the 2000 for her demanding and strong supporting role. One of her most notable characters was her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas where she plays the role of Kaki and had contributed to the opulent and emotional atmosphere in the film. She had soon got into collaboration with large scale commercial entertainers and her filmography carries a wide range of films with variety of genres.

Gargi has appeared in films that are family centric like Baabul in 2006, Ek Vivaah…. Aisa Bhi in 2008 bringing in warmth and traditions in the role she essays.
