Do Aur Do Paanch Full Packed Action Film Featuring Amitabh Bachchan And Shashi Kapoor

Today we welcome you to one more episode on a new film, Do Aur Do Paanch by Shri Amitabh Bachchan. Today we are talking with you about a film directed by Rakesh Kumar released in 1980.  The film Do Aur Do Paanch.

In the film one scene was to be shot at Mumbai’s famous Sea Rock Hotel. That was the time when Amitabh Bachchan was suffering from asthma attack. During the shooting, he got the asthma attack. If not for Shashi Kapoor’s timely help to him, it would have been very bad and anything could have happened. After this incident Amitabh Bachchan decided that with every film that required two hero’s he would ask the director to cast Shashi Kapoor in it. 

After Do Aur Do Paanch, Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor collaborated together in few more films such as Shaan, Silsila, Namak Halaal, all films which went on to become super hits. In Do Aur Do Paanch, Hema Malini and Parveen Babi essayed the roles of their lovers. 

In the film Amitabh Bachchan who plays the role of Vijay and Sunil who is essayed by Shashi Kapoor. Both are thieves in the film . Both of them have been given a task to kidnap a young kid Bittu from his school.  But both of them when they see Bittu, they have a change of heart and decide not to kidnap the boy.

They both meet their love, Anju essayed by Parveen Babi and Shalu is Hema Malini.  Both their girlfriends are unaware of their profession fall in love with them.  With their support and love, they change them to become good citizens. They join hands together to instead save the young boy from kidnapping and rescue him from his wicked uncle and his henchmen. The story ends with a happy ending.  

The producer of the film is Devar Films and the screenplay is by Sachin Bhowmick. Dialogues are by Kader Khan with music score by Rajesh Roshan. This film was made in Tamil in 1982 with Rajinikanth as the lead actor. Here we end one more episode on Amitabh films Series.
