Pavail Gulati

Pavail Gulati is best known for his work in films such as Yudh in 2014, Haq Se in 2018, Thappad in 2020, Dobaaraa in 2022 and the web series Faadu in 2022.

Pavail started his career in the entertainment industry with the television series, Bollywood Hero in 200 followed by playing a hipster character in one of the episodes of a television series called Bill Bennett and Ted Skillman. He had also featured in television serials such as Ribhu Dasgupta and Vedd Rawtaani’s Pyaar on the Rocks in 2017. Reema Kagti - Zoya Akhtar’s Made in Heaven in 2019.

Besides his career in television and films, Pavail has appeared in music videos titled Kalank in 2019 which featured Varun Dhawan. Gulati had joined the Whistling Woods International as a faculty after he had moved to Mumbai.

Pavail Gulati was also an assistant casting director for the film My Name is Khan and made his debut in the film Hide & Seek in the year 2010. In the film Yudh in 2014, he portrayed the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s son. He then appeared in a short film Queen of Hearts in the year 2016. In 2017, Gulati made a debut in Pyaar on the Rocks and also featured in the film Ittefaq with Sonakshi Sinha and in Imtiaz Ali’s short film The Other Way, he acted in the film opposite Shreya Chaudhary.

For the web series Haq Se, he worked opposite Parul Gulati and portrayed the role of a journalist in the film Kalank.  Gulati has many short stints in his career.  

In 2020, Pavail appeared in Anurag Kashyap’s Ghost Stories and in the web series Ayrodh: The Siege Within, wherein he essayed the role of an Army Officer.

In the film Thappad, he has essayed the role of Taapsee Pannu’s husband and the film revolved around him which proved to be a major turning point in his life.   In 2022, he had a film Goodbye opposite Rashmika Mandanna and Bachchan and in the series Faadu he was cast opposite Saiyami Kher.

In 2023, Pavail Gulati was seen in the thriller I Love You on Jio Cinema alongside Rakul Preet Singh.

Gulati ranks 19th in the 2020 list of ‘The Times Most Desirable Man’. 

He has to his credit two music videos in 2021 titled Naa Dooja Koi with singers Jyotica Tangri and Arko Prayo Mukherjee and in 2023, Jee Bhar Ke Tum with singer Shreya Ghoshal.
