Aashiq is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The Story revolves around the life of Gopal (played by Raj Kapoor)- A Kind-Hearted man living with his family and has an Elder brother- Pratap (played by Abhi Bhattacharya)- A Handsome man- whose engaged to Preeti (played by Padmini)- A Sweet girl living with her family and sister- Renuka (played by Nanda)- A Beautiful girl in the same village. Preeti falls in love with Gopal and this hurts Pratap but he sacrifices his love- but things get complicated- when Gopal falls in love with Renuka, leading to consequences.
