This movie was an action drama & is directed by Mukul.S. Anand, produced by Yash Johar, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, Neelam, Rohini Hattangady, Danny, Alok Nath. Released on 16th February 1990.
Kancha Cheena (Danny)who is an underworld Don wants to set up a base in a small town where Deenanath Chavan (Alok Nath) is a simple schoolteacher who does not like this plan. He has a son Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) & wife Suhasini (Rohini Hattangady) a daughter Siksha (Neelam). They are thrown out of the town because of some set up scandal. Deenanath Chavan is murdered, an attempted rape attack on Suhasini. Vijay has a burning desire to punish the wrong and clear his father’s name. In all this confusion Vijay turns into a gangster, suffers an assassination attack, left to die, when Krishnan Iyer (Mithun Chakraborty) who is a coconut seller takes him to the hospital where Vijay is taken care of by a nurse Mary Mathews (Madhavi).
Vijay employs Krishnan Iyer as Siksha” s bodyguard and they fall in love with each other. He takes his revenge on all those people one by one, marries Mary Mathews. Suhasini gets very angry on Vijay but does not realise that he is doing it only to clear his father’s name.
Vijay kills Kancha Cheena, but is shot & dies on his mother’s lap.
