In a remote area of Kerala, a widow named Sunandha (Seema) raises her little son in poverty. With the aid of her silent admirer, Master Murali (Mammootty), she establishes a kindergarten school in her desperate attempt to make a livelihood. A sad incident affects their capacity to live in the hamlet just when her life appears to be heading toward stability.
