Mughal Road

Mughal Road is one of the upcoming movies of the drama genre. This new film’s story presents a gripping dramatization of a pivotal 1947-48 conflict in Jammu & Kashmir, where tribal militias from Pakistan who are known as Kabailies and Pakistani army forces invaded the strategic town of Baramulla via the Mughal Road. 

This incursion prompts Maharaja Hari Singh to urgently appeal to India for military support, setting in motion the signing of the Instrument of Accession and enabling the Indian Army’s intervention to secure the region.The plot’s narrative unfolds through the eyes of three seasoned military and political figures, portrayed by Manoj Bajpayee, Arjun Rampal, and Boman Irani, as they adventure the chaos and brutality of warfare in the mountainous terrain.  

These characters grapple with moral complexities and tough decisions while confronting guerrilla tactics and superior terrain knowledge wielded by the Kabailies. Moreover, the film’s plot is set against the backdrop of the harsh Himalayan landscape, Mughal Road is one of the recent movie releases that combines visceral battle sequences, dramatic political negotiations, and personal heroism to showcase the resilience of the Indian forces.
