Begunaah Qaidi (1982)

Abdul is a hardened criminal who kills the wealthy Modi and escapes. Vijay an innocent youth who comes to meet his girlfriend Asha, who is Modi’s niece, gets trapped in the crime. Vijay is then accused of the crime and jailed. Meanwhile Abdul is arrested for another crime and meets Vijay. Abdul and Vijay soon become good friends and plan on escaping the jail. Then their planning bears fruit when the van carrying prisoners meets with an accident and they both manage to escape. Vijay’s goal in life is now to find out the real killer of Mr. Modi, while Abdul wants to settle down with a dancer named Salma. The film is directed by V K Sobti and produced by soni. The music is composed by Sonik Omi. The star cast includes Om Shiv Puri, Shakti Kapoor, Asha Sachdev and Aarti Gupta.
