Synopsis

Chori Mera Kaam is a comedy film produced by Chander Sadanah and directed by Brij and written by K. A. Narayan. The film released in the year 1975 stars, Ashok Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Deven Verma , Iftekar and Pran. Bholanath is a small time robber who pick pockets for a living along with a female accomplice Sharmiji. Bholanath is unaware that he is the illegitimate son of a police officer Kumar, who has been chasing down gangster named Amanarchand Rathore, whom Kumar had imprisoned twenty years ago and is now pardoned. Amanarchand’s enemies had abuducted Bhola ( son of Police Officer Kumar) when he was a little boy but had escaped and was raised by a John, a petty thief while Kumar and his wife all along believed their son was dead. Bhola after many years during his robbery accidentally finds a book titled, ‘Chori Mera Kaam’ in which goes on to be a best seller attracting attention from the police and the manuscript of the book also reveals a truth about his own life.
