Dahej is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Shantaram Rajaram Vankudre. The story revolves around the life of Chanda (played by Jayashree)- a kind and sweet girl living with her father- Thakur (played by Prithviraj Kapoor) and her mother- (played by Mumtaz Begum)- who receives a proposal of marriage from a Lawyer house for his son-Suraj (played by Karan Dewan)- a kind man. However, they meet and fell in love with each other- but Thakur hates the dowry system and refuses it and Suraj agrees and married her. Things get complicated- when Suraj's other tortures her for the sake of dowry, leading to consequences.
