Rajesh and Meena come from affluent families and when they go for a vacation to Europe they fall in love. They promise to tell their families about their love and soon get married. Accordingly after coming back to India, Rajesh tells his dad to go and meet Meena’s grandfather in their mansion. However on the way, Rajesh’s father has an altercation with him not knowing that he is Meena’s grandfather. He then sees him come home and insults him saying that he will never get his granddaughter married in such an unruly family. Both the lovers get separated and are helpless.
Rajesh then hatches a plan comes to Meena’s house dressed as a male servant. Since no one has seen him he is able to fool everyone and wins over all. Only Meena’s aunt who has seen him understands the lover’s dilemma and plays along. Soon he reveals the truth to everyone and they accept him just the way he is. The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The star cast includes Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Rakesh Bedi, Satish Shah, Anil Dhawan, Omkar Kapoor, Tiku Talsania, Harish, Dinesh Hingoo, Vikas Anand, Himani Shivpuri, Shahsi Kiran, Shagufta Ali and Prachi.
