Himmatwala (1998)

Kishan, played by Mithun Chakraborty is an honest man of principles. He loves his sister Kiran, and arranges for her wedding with a groom that is perfect for her. It is the happiest day of their lives. But soon the happiest day is turned into a horror and tragedy, when Kiran is brutally murdered on her wedding day. All Kishan’s dreams are crushed when he sees his deceased sister in front of him. He vows revenge on whoever murdered his sister. Kishan has only vengeance on his mind. One day a girl, who looks exactly like his sister brings some hope in Kishan’s life. Sadly it isn’t his sister but a look-a-like and comes to him for help to unite with her lover. Kishan decides to help her no matter what. The movie is directed by Jayant Gilatar and produced by A Krishamuti. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, Tinu Anand, Rajeev Verma, Tiku Talsania, Shahid Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Rajesh Sharma, Reema Lagoo, Beena Banerjee, Dina Pathak and Radhika. The music is composed by Tabut Sutradhar and the lyrics are written by Dev Kohli. The screenplay is written by Anwar Shah and Masood Patel. The dialogues are written by Tanveer Khan.
