“Irumbu Manithan” is a 2020 Tamil drama film written and directed by Disney and produced by Joseph Baby. Santhosh Prathap, Archana, Ganja Karuppu, and Madhusudhan play main roles in the movie. This is an emotional drama about betrayal, resilience, and the strength of a man who refuses to give up.

"Sundharam" (Santhosh Prathap) is a kind gentleman, running a small roadside eatery. He is a businessman, as well as a fond father to his three adopted children. He brings them up with great care, providing all they want and dreaming that their futures would be bright. He believes in the philosophy that family treasure is the most valuable one.

But things take a tragic turn in his life when his loved children turn against him. Hanged in greed, they abandoned him to own his much-struggled properties. A solitary, crushed and broken Sundharam is unable to fight the darkness inflicted on him through the betrayal by the children whom he loved so dearly. He refused to give in, however.

Sundharam takes nothing but his determination and starts rebuilding from scratch. He just keeps struggling to create a new empire, showing that it takes strength and courage to fight against adversity. He encounters a lot of challenges on the way, but he never loses hope. He meets people who motivate him along the way and gradually gains confidence in himself.

“Irumbu Manithan” will be cherished as a beautiful love story, loss, and struggle.
