Inspector Jayantilal’s wife gives birth to twin boys, in the same hospital, where he has brought the dacoit Ratan for treatment. He takes one of the twins and escapes. He then brings him up as Raja, who grows up to be a street smart and small time goon. He has an adopted sister who he adores and protects. The other twin Prem grows up to be a sober gentleman but his mother on losing one twin goes into depression. Soon Prem who is brought up in the US comes to India for a concert and meets Mala as their fathers want them to get married. But Mala loves Raja and she confuses Prem as being Raja.
Meanwhile Raja is also the object of Sundari and she wanst her daughter Rupa to marry him but she is too shy. Soon the two couple come face to face and realize they are long lost twins. They then marry their respective girlfriends and are reunited with their parents. The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiawala. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the lyrics are written by Dev Kohli. The star cast includes Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Rambha, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Mukesh Rish, Dalip Tahil, Tiku Talsania, Jack Gaud, Dinesh Hingoo, Vikas Anand, Kamal Deep, Ram Sethi, Omkar Kapoor, Bindu, Reema Lagoo and Shahsi Kiran.
