Kisaan is one of the upcoming movies of the drama genre. He rallies diverse stakeholders from women organisers, youth activists, and traditional community leaders to form a coalition determined to defend their fields and way of life. 

Through intense protest rallies, legal battles, and tense stand-offs, Kisaan highlights both the emotional toll and heroic resilience of India’s farming families. As Dev faces personal heartbreak—his brother’s illness and the death of a mentor farmer- he emerges as the emblem of grassroots resistance, drawing national attention to the farmers’ plight. The plot’s tone blends gritty realism with stirring emotional drama. 

Sonu Sood leads with a powerful performance rooted in empathy and grit, embodying the “real-life hero” persona he’s known for during the pandemic. This is one of the recent movie releases that has shed light on the life of a farmer through the realistic visuals and a relatable storyline.
