Since the pandemic wreaked havoc on humanity in 2020, people with substantial resources have helping the less fortunate in all their capacity. One of the top from that list is Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. The Jodhaa Akbar actor has been working relentlessly to provide help by means of beds, Remdesivir, oxygen concentrators/cylinders and other support. The actor has been lauded for his compassionate and generous attitude during the stressful times of Covid. People of Andra Pradesh, as a token of appreciation have put up a life sized  poster of the actor in Srikalahasti and poured milk on it with a flower garland.

Commenting on India’s poor response to the pandemic Sonu said that in our country only one to two percent of our GDP is spent on healthcare. This means we could never be prepared for such a pandemic. Meanwhile on the work front, Sood will next be seen in the film Kisaan directed by Eeshwar Nivas and produced by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
