Bahadur Singh heads a gang of dacoits and his two sons Shakti and Shaitan are a part of the gang. They go about looting and taking their share from people wherever they go. One day while on a looting spree in Jamalpur village, Shakti gets gravely wounded and everyone thinks he is dead. He drags himself to the house of Harkishen where the latter lives with his daughter Lali. The duo take care of Shakti for days till he comes back into consciousness. Shakti is grateful for the care and soon falls in love with Lali. She however wants him to lead an honest life for
them to get married. Meanwhile Shaitaan soon finds out that Shakti is alive and goes to bring him back. But to his surprise he refuses to return and claims that he has changed his ways. His father Bahadur himself comes to get him but someone shoots Bahadur dead. Shaitan is horrified and needs to know who killed his father. When he gets no answer, he begins to kill one villager each day till the real culprit confesses. Meanwhile Shaitan also learns that Shakti isn’t his biological brother but an abducted child years ago. The film is directed by Raj Khosla and produced by Johnny Bakshi. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Shatrughan Sinha, Smita Patil, Danny Denzongpa, Mukri, Johnny Walker and Geeta Behl.
