Nigahen Nagina Part II (1989)

Rajiv and Rajni’s daughter Neelam is brought up by her grandfather after her parents die in a horrific car accident. After growing up she is brought back to her ancestral house and meets a young handsome man named Anand. He woos her and she falls in love with him. Anand works for a tantric named Gorakhnath and is trying to lure her into telling him about the powerful Naagmani that will give immence powers to anyone who possesses it. Neelam’s grandmother had hypnotized her to go to an old temple and locating the gem. This was all witnessed by Gorakhnath. Meanwhile Anand falls in love with Neelam for real and confides in her about being cursed by Gorakhnath. Together they join forces and defeat the evil tantric and don’t let his plans succeed. The film is directed and produced by Harmesh Malhotra. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The story is written by Jagmohan Kapoor. The cinematography is by V Durga Prasad and the choreography is by Saroj Khan. The star cast includes Sunny Deol, Anupam Kher, Sridevi, Pran, Gulshan Grover, Jagdeep, Anjana Mumtaz and Aruna Irani.
