Paigham is an Emotional-Comedy Romantic Musical Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by S.S. Vasan. The Story revolves around the life of two brothers- Ram (played by Raaj Kumar)- A Kind-Man working in a Mill owned by Sewakaram and Ratan (played by Dilip Kumar)- An Engineer studied from Calcutta- comes to the village and joins the same Mill. Ratan fells in love with Manju (played by Vyjayanthimala)- A sweet girl-daughter of Sewekaram and wanted to marry her. Things get complicated- when Ratan blames the owner for the Injustice and Ram protects Sewakaram, leading to a clash and family torn apart after their sister marriage gets canceled, leading to consequences.
