"Puthiya Mugam" is a suspenseful Tamil cyber psychological thriller directed and written by Sriman D. Prasath and produced by Krishna Media's Khushbahar Shaikh and Prankrishna Tapadar. Kalaiyarasan, RK Suresh, and Mime Gopi play lead roles in the movie, which delves into paranoia driven by technology, ethical dilemmas, and the darker side of human psychology. While no release date has been officially declared, the trailer promises a suspenseful tale with high-intensity mind games.

The story is about a young man (Kalaiyarasan) whose ordinary life is turned upside down when all his electronic devices: his phone, TV, and laptop, are hacked into in a mysterious way. A masked cyber hacker issues him a horror challenge: within seven days, he has to murder a person named Suresh (RK Suresh) or else die a gruesome death. The hacker tells us that he has hacked into Suresh's life as well, keeping him aware of his death. Both men are trapped in a network of the digital age; fear and desperation follow.

Kalaiyarasan seeks the assistance of a fellow named Michael and hopes to get some sense out of the madness. Trapped between good and bad, he is in a race against time to locate the hacker or finish the task. On the opposing side, Suresh begins plotting how to murder his assigned killer. Then it is a heart-pumping cat-and-mouse psychological thriller in which the two men are mere pawns in a game.

The film questions whether Kalaiyarasan surrenders to pressure or finds the hacker within the deadline and whether Suresh can attack his attacker in advance. Who is this hacker, and what really is his motive in plotting out this deadly game?

Aided by eerie music and state-of-the-art cinematography, Puthiya Mugam weaves a well-crafted story on trust, manipulation, and the insidious extent of the digital world. The movie promises a new experience at the cinema, one that blurs the lines between guilt, survival, and transformation.
