Romeo Rajkumar, played by Shahid Kapoor is unemployed and lands in Dhartipur, which is ruled by two drug barons, Shivraj and Manik. The Mafia don named Ajit Taaka in Hong Kong controls most of the drug business in the region and they fear him. Rajkumar meets the beautiful Chanda, played by Sonakshi Sinha and falls in love with her. She is an orphan being brought up by her uncle Manik. One day Shivraj sees Chanda and falls for her. He pleads with Manik to get her married to him and he agrees. A furious Rajkumar beats up Shivraj’s men and challenges Shivraj.
Chanda herself challenges Shivraj to beat Rajkumar and in a fit of rage hatches a plan to kill Rajkumar. They later learn that he works for don Taaka and sent by him to Dhartipur to take over their drug trade. He then takes Shivraj’s truck full of drugs and drives it to Takka, but in a twist of tale Takka and Shivraj have joined hands and fool Rajkummar and kill him and get him buried.
Later while Shivraj is preparing to marry Chanda, Rajkumar appears alive. He was saved by one of Shivraj’s henchmen and they both now have a one to one combat. Rajkummar eventually kills Shivraj as well as Takka and walks away with Chanda. The movie is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Viki Rajani and Sunil Lulla. The music is composed by Pritam.
