Rivaaj is an Emotional-Romantic Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by T. Prakash Rao. The Story revolves around the life of Shekhar (played by Sanjeev Kumar)- a kind-hearted man living with his mother fells in love with Lakshmi (played by Mala Sinha)- a teenager of the priest holding a secret revealed by Shekahr's Mother- that she is a widow. His Mother arranges his marriage with Kamla (played by Zeb Rehman) and he agrees to marry. However, things get complicated when Kamla dies in an uncertain manner, leaving her daughter Raji behind and she gets shocked with Shekhar- when he was performing Ritual of Cremantation, leading her into fear.
